AI tools generate thousands of candidate proteins a week.
The manufacturing layer for AI-native biotech
Lysa is building the clinical manufacturing layer for AI. One cell-free process that serves the whole pipeline, from R&D to clinical manufacturing at kg scale.
Why we exist
Strain engineering is redone for every molecule: about four months of work per candidate.
Cell-free synthesis is proven for validation, but nothing yet connects AI design to manufacturing. Lysa is building that interface.
How we work
De novo protein design has humanity-level improvement potential. It won't on strain engineering.
Every protein that matters next is a sequence. The manufacturing layer that treats sequences as the input — the same way from research batch to clinical material — is what decides how much of that potential gets used.
In the future, sequences for curative protein complexes will be designed by AI based on patient data. This will enable humanity to catch up to disease in ways that are unimaginable today.
That future will only come to fruition if iteration and production match the speed AI can design at.
